OHW:Michael Bublé

Michael Bublé started his career in 1995. His albums are very popular worldwide (his past 4 albums have peaked at #1 in Ireland, Australia, the US, and Canada [5]). His singles unfortunately don't even come close to the success of his albums in the US. Although no singles have ever reached #1, he has still been successful elsewhere around the world (he has produced seven top 40 singles in the UK, Canada, and Australia). Read on to see how well these singles have done in the US.

Bublé first entered the charts with "Home" from his fourth album, Its Time. This song peaked at #71 and was certified platinum in the US.

He then entered the charts again with the gold-certified song, "Save The Last Dance For Me", which peaked at #99.

As the debut single for Call Me Irresponsible, "Everything" did well (#46), but not well enough to be a Top 40 hit.

Other than "Lost" (#97), no other singles charted from his fifth album, Call Me Irresponsible.

Unlike Bublé's former debut singles, Just Haven't Met You Yet charted in the US Top 40 at #26. In many other countries it even peaked in the Top 5 (Canada, Ireland, the Netherlands, and the UK)!

After his first taste of success in the US, the rest of his following singles unfortunately didn't chart as well. While most of them charted in the in the 90's, although "Hollywood" from Crazy Love peaked at #55.

His newest single, "Its A Beautiful Day", from his most recent album, To Be Loved, peaked at #94 a few weeks ago.

Since "Its A Beautiful Day" will probably not re-enter the chart, I have come to my conclusions: Michael Bublé is indeed a one hit wonder (OHW) in the US.
