Hot 100 Friday: May 17

Welcome to another Hot 100 Friday! This weeks chart was very unusual. Read on!

I have never seen the Hot 100 have the Top 3 songs the same for two weeks in a row! "Cant Hold Us", "Just Give Me A Reason" and "Mirrors" are one, two, and three again! "Stay" and "When I Was Your Man" only switched places! Fortunately, the rest of the chart was more interesting this week.

The biggest surprises on the whole entire chart this week was when "Come And Get It" dropped into the Top 10 at #6,"Next To Me" charted at #24 (eight more than last week), and when "Here's To Never Growing Up" dropped by half from #60 to #30.

I was also a little surprised to see that "The Way" almost reached its debut peak of #10 (that it reached 7 weeks ago) by rising three spaces to #12 and that Carly Rae Jepson's new single, "Tonight I'm Getting Over You", debuted at #90.

I was happy to see that "Same Love" by Macklemore dropped four spaces to #78, and that Radioactive almost reached its peak again, charting at #8.

Last Weeks Predictions:I guessed right when I said that "Cant Hold Us" would be #1 again and that Radioactive would be stationary at #8. I guessed wrong when I guessed that "I Love It" would chart at #5 (it's at #9), "I Need Your Love" would chart at #69 (at #67), "Come And Get It" would drop a space to #13 (now at #6), and when I said that "Gentleman" would fall a dozen spaces (it fell 6).

Next Weeks Predictions: I think "I Love It" and "Come And Get It" will fall a space, "Stay" will stay at #5, "I Need Your Love" will gain 5 spaces (to #62), "Cant Hold Us" will stay at #1, "Just Give Me A Reason" will switch with "Mirrors" (#2 and #3), and "Radioactive" will stay stationary for a third consecutive week.

Have an awesome relaxing weekend!
