Meredeth Brooks: OHW

Meredith Brooks gained recognition when her single, "Bitch", achieved commercial success. Her album, Blurring the Edges, peaked at #22 on the Billboard 100 and achieved platinum sales in the US (1,000,000) and double platinum sales in Canada (200,000). In this post we will see if Meredith Brooks is a true OHW, as everybody knows her.

Released in 1997, "Bitch" was 'Brooks' first successful single. It peaked inside the Top 20 in 13 countries and #2 in the US(certified gold), Canada and Australia.

Her follow up single, "I Need" didn't chart on the US Hot 100, but it charted in the UK at #28, making her a THW there.

Released in 1998 as the third single from Blurring the Edges, "What Would Happen" almost peaked in the Top 40 on the US Hot 100 at #46.

Unfortunately, the rest of her albums and singles didn't chart in the US. She is a OHW in every country where "Bitch" charted in the Top 40, except for the UK ("I Need" charted in the Top 40").

Thanks for reading!
