OHW: Ingrid Michaelson

The second OHWW (One Hit Wonder Wednesday) is about Ingrid Michaelson. Many people don't know her, but she has been a successful singer since 2007. While her first album didn't chart, her next four albums did (#63, #35, #18, #5). Unfortunately, most of her singles didn't chart successfully.

Her very first single, "The Way I Am" peaked in the US Top 40 at #37. This was the first and only single from her second album, Girls And Boys.

Her third album, Be OK, produced one single, "Be OK". While this song charted on the Billboard Top 100, it only peaked at #91.

"Maybe" the only single from her fourth album, Everybody. It never charted.

Her most recent album, Human Again, had three singles, but the only one that charted was "Fire" (my favorite Ingrid Michaelson song). It peaked at #103 (or #3 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart).

So that sums it up, Ingrid Michaelson is a OHW. But, as you can tell, she is more successful than she ever was when she was produced Boys And Girls, as her following albums sold a lot more copies.

Thanks for reading!
