Hot 100 Friday: May 3rd

Welcome to the second Hot 100 Friday post (on a Saturday this time)!


           Many songs were stationary this week, ("Just Give Me A Reason" is #1 again, "Can't Hold Us is #2 again, and "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark [Light Em' Up] is #15 again).

          There were five huge surprises this week: "I Love It" entered the Top 10, "Gentleman" dropped 21 positions, "The Way" re-entered the Top 20 (when the song reached #37 I thought it would keep losing positions!), "Come And Get It" dropped a space and didn't enter the Top 20 (I predicted it would gain enough positions to enter the top 20 last week), and "Next To Me" entered the Top 40!

          Some other changes include: "Stay" reaching its peak of #3 again, "Radioactive" entering the Top 10 again, "Feel This Moment" and "Suit And Tie" gaining a position while Justin Timberlakes second single, "Mirrors" gained 2 (reaching a peak of #5).

          Next week, I think "Come And Get it" will enter the Top 20, "Next To Me" and "I Love It" will gain more positions, and "Can't Hold Us" will reach #1.

          When the charts are updated again, we will see if any of my predictions were correct!
