Meredith Brooks gained recognition when her single, "Bitch", achieved commercial success. Her album, Blurring the Edges, peaked at #22 on the Billboard 100 and achieved platinum sales in the US (1,000,000) and double platinum sales in Canada (200,000). In this post we will see if Meredith Brooks is a true OHW, as everybody knows her.

New Single Review: Treasure
Welcome to the first Song Review! Bruno Mars' new single from his album, Unorthodox Jukebox, just debuted at #71 on the Hot 100, and I have already heard it on the radio three times!

Sara Barallies: OHW
Sara Bareilles has been on the international music scene since 2008, when her single, "Love Song", became very successful. Unfortunately, most of the general public only knows her as a OHW.

Alanis Morisette's Top 5 Songs
Welcome to another Top 5 Tuesday! I will be premiering Top 5 Tuesdays first Honerable Mention! Here is a little about Alanis Morisette: From 1991-1993, Alanis Morisette was a popular Canadian music artist (with six top 40 hits in Canada). She then claimed international success when she moved to L.A and created her third album, Jagged Little Pill. It then became one of the best-selling albums of all time (33 million sales). Her following albums met with less success, with each album getting less sales than the one before. While most of the songs on thelist are songs from Jagged Little Pill, they are nevertheless my favorite songs by Alanis Morisette.

OHW:Michael Bublé
Michael Bublé started his career in 1995. His albums are very popular worldwide (his past 4 albums have peaked at #1 in Ireland, Australia, the US, and Canada [5]). His singles unfortunately don't even come close to the success of his albums in the US. Although no singles have ever reached #1, he has still been successful elsewhere around the world (he has produced seven top 40 singles in the UK, Canada, and Australia). Read on to see how well these singles have done in the US.
Top 5 Katy Perry Songs
Katy Perry is also the first artist I have ever seen in live concert!
She first created songs to get the public's attention ("Ur So Gay" and
"I Kissed A Girl"), and when she finally got the spotlight, she created
awesome songs with catchy hooks, leading to the album (Teenage Dream), which has the record for the album with the most #1 singles (six). Eight singles were released for the album, and every single was a top 3 hit or better ("California
Gurls [feat. Snoop Dogg]", "Teenage Dream", "Firework", "E.T [feat.
Kanye West], "Last Friday Night [feat. T.G.I.F]" and "Part Of Me" [the
only one that debuted at #1 ] all peaked at #1, while "The One
That Got Away"[#3] and"Wide Awake" [#2] peaked inside the Top 3)! As you can see, she is a very successful singer (her debut
album had three Top 10 hits), and I will now list my five favorite songs
from One Of The Boys and Teenage Dream.

Dev's Top 5 Songs
Dev crashed into the music scene as a featured artist in 2010 with Far East Movement with the single, Like A G6. A lot of these songs are in the last weeks OHWW (One Hit Wonder Wednesday) post. Dev is very talented: she can both rap and sing! Her catchy tunes may be a little to auto tuned for some (especially "In My Trunk"), but her fantastic rapping makes up for it. Here are my favorite songs by Dev:

OHW: Far East Movement and Dev
This is the first One-Hit Wonder Wednesday post. Enjoy!
Everyone knows the hit "Like A G6" by Far East Movement, Dev, and the Cataracs (it sold millions of units worldwide and topped the Hot 100), but did they produce any hits after that? In this post we will find out if they ever came close to matching the success of Like A G6, and we will see if they are a one-hit wonder (OHW), two hit wonder (THW) or a multiple-hit wonder (MHW)!
